Based at the foot of Edinburgh Castle, in the Grassmarket area of the city, the Academy is underneath music shop Red Dog Music and has been at the centre of the Edinburgh music scene since 2006.
Being a city centre location, the Academy Edinburgh is slightly smaller than other Academy centres but is superbly laid out and has all of the usual amenities: Mac Suite, recording facility, drum studio, keyboard facilities, teaching rooms and not forgetting Edinburgh’s biggest music shop above!
