In replacement of our Glasgow Open Event, which was originally scheduled for April, we’re now hosting an Online Open Day on Saturday 16th May. Instead of you coming to visit us, we’re bringing our teaching staff to you!

Learn all about the academy of Music and Sound in Glasgow, and what studying in the heart of this incredible Scottish city is all about.  As part of the online event you can expect to get all your questions answered about the range of courses we offer, and what might suit you best. Plus, we’re so excited to be able to offer 1 hour of instrument-specific based tuition (drums, bass, guitar, vocals, songwriting). This will be followed by 45 mins of course-specific information and funding advice.

It’s not a requirement, however, to fully participate it would be beneficial if you have a working webcam and your first-choice instrument. For drummers, we understand that you may not have a full drum kit at home but a practice pad would suffice.

Just download Zoom (online video streaming service) prior to attending, and we will send information to login 30/15 mins before.

12:00 to 12:30 – First instrument lesson
12:45 to 13:15 – Second instrument lesson
13:30 to 14:15 – Course information and funding advice.

To book, simply email glasgow@academyofmusic.ac.uk or marc.sharpe@academyofmusic.ac.uk or message us on Facebook!

See you in Cyberspace!
