Our Gateshead centre will be providing facilities for Tipping Point, who are putting on a Songwriting camp in the February half term.

From Tipping Point:

We are very pleased to announce a brand new songwriting residency for emerging artists and music creators (aged 18-25) across the North East.

Launching at the Academy For Music & Sound in Gateshead on Monday 17th – Friday 21st February, the residency will be facilitated by prolific songwriters Joe Hammill (Cattle & Cane, Lucy Spraggan) and Hattie Murdoch (Blackbutter Records, Trafik) who will share their expansive knowledge of co-writing & collaborating!
