Start date: Mid – August 2021

We are looking for a highly motivated HN and BA Course Coordinator to join our Edinburgh Team. This person will have experience of delivering courses at FE and HE level, have strong organisation, administrative and interpersonal skills, and knowledge of the music industry.

The role will entail the day to day running of all our fulltime courses. This will include providing guidance and pastoral care to all students, alongside keeping up to date records of student progress and liaising with the teaching team. Other duties will include devising assessment schedules on our HN courses and providing academic tutorials and supervision to our BA (Hons) students.

The ideal candidate will have a background in music education in FE and/or HE.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

Post Graduate qualification in Teaching
Knowledge of Further and Higher Education structures
Understanding of music and the music industry
A high level of literacy
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Word, Teams and Excel
Proficiency in performing administrative tasks and attention to detail
Flexible approach to working hours
Ability to work under own initiative
Member of PVG Scheme

Desirable:

Previous experience in pastoral care
Previous experience with student requiring additional learning support
Previous experience of Internal and external verification process

44 weeks per annum

30 hour a week @£12 ph
