Our Gateshead Campus
Our Gateshead campus is located right in the heart of the city, and just a short hop from the neighbouring city of Newcastle.
Both towns have a buzzing music culture, making the area a first class choice to take your next steps in music. With one of the most vibrant student communities in the country, the area is home to some staple music venues such as The Cluny (Newcastle) and The Sage (Gateshead).
Famous for electrifying nightlife, intimate cheap pubs, late-night cafes, stunning live music venues and a famously friendly local population, Gateshead and Newcastle are excellent (and affordable!) areas to gig and build networks as a budding musician. The AMS Gateshead tutors are all working industry professionals, with local links and connections ready to help students build their profile either on the gigging circuit, or on the music business side of things.
