This practical workshop and class-based Songwriting short course is an excellent opportunity for students to develop their songwriting ability. They will also have the chance to build their confidence and meet other like-minded musicians.
The course is delivered by experienced, professional songwriters who bring up-to-date experience in the industry.
Course Details
This short course will help you to improve your song and lyric writing techniques alongside helping you become more confident and skilled at writing melodies and chord progressions.
You will have the opportunity to perform your original material in front of other members of the class. This helps you prepare for a final “showcase performance” at the end of the course.
Our course is SQA accredited. On successful completion, you will receive a SQA National Progression Award (NPA) in “Music Performance”.

After completing this short course, you could enrol in Fife College’s full-time Sound Production Course.
