Yamaha Visit to Birmingham

Big in Japan

The Academy of Music and Sound Birmingham was delighted to play host to Yu Inuoue and Usamu Ito who travelled from Yamaha headquarters in Hamamatsu, Japan.
The pair, who are researching designs for electric guitars, met students to ask their opinions on design. They were joined by Martin Adam and Julian Ward of Yamaha UK.
AMS students enjoyed a practical session with the two designers and got their hands on some exclusive guitars.
