This practical workshop and class-based performance short course is a great opportunity for students to develop their ability on their chosen instrument (Bass, Drums, Guitar or Vocals), build confidence and to meet other like-minded musicians. The course is delivered by experienced, professional musicians who bring up-to-date experience from working in industry.
Course Details
The course will help you to improve your playing techniques alongside helping you become more confident and skilled at rehearsing and performing as a band. This course is also intended to improve your confidence too as you’ll also have the opportunity to perform a range of material in front of other members of the class helping you prepare for your final “showcase performance”.

This course is available for those who reside in Scotland and are aged fourteen and above.

On successful completion of the course, students typically progress onto other Academy of Music & Sound Short Courses and/or go on to study full-time HNC & Degree level courses specializing in their specific instrument at the Academy of Music & Sound.
