About AMS Online

AMS Online is an online music degree course provider.

The Academy of Music and Sound Online (AMS Online) are a UK based education and training provider specialising in the provision of high quality music education solely online. Since 2004, we have delivered training to over 6500 students via a network of 7 campus’ around the UK and the AMSonline platform.

Since 2023 we have been operating only our online provision.

One of the huge advantages of AMS Online is that we are able to offer courses to non UK citizens. Our current cohorts on undergraduate and postgraduate online music degree programmes are studying from 12 different countries. Since 2020 we have welcomed over 200 students to study with us on full and part time undergraduate and postgraduate music courses through the AMS online platform. Those that apply from the UK may be eligible for a government funded student loan to cover the cost of their studies. Those from further afield will need to arrange their own tuition fee payment. AMS was founded and continues to be run by passionate musicians with a wealth of experience in the recording and live music industries.

 

At the time of writing, AMS online is the only specific HE music provider online that is able to offer extensive 1:1 mentorship to its students. We pride ourselves on being able to provide a personal service to each of our students, ensuring that each learner’s journey aligns with their musical and career aspirations.
